Artist: Two-Minute Miracles, Album: Volume IV: The Lions Of Love, Song: Conjoined
The Two-Minute Miracles are a band from London, Ontario. The principle songwriter is J.Andrew Magoffin who starting developing his trade in the mid-nineties. In 1999, the band released their first album with Toronto, indie label, Teenage USA Recordings. They have released four albums to date and the most recent is on the (weewerk) label, entitled, Volume IV:The Lions Of Love. This album was released in 2007 and includes the track, Conjoined. The band's sound is alt-rock but a lot of their music hangs on simple pop melodies like this one. The name of the band was derived from their ability to craft two minute songs and Conjoined is a wonderful two minutes and thirty six seconds. If this band ever hit the radar of enough listening bodies, they'd have the potential to be massive. They are completely underrated. As well as fronting his own band, Magoffin runs his own studio in London called, The House Of Miracles. To date, he has produced records for a number of great Canadian bands like the Constantines, Cuff The Duke, Great Lake Swimmers and the Hidden Cameras. You can download the latest album on Itunes. You can also follow the band at http://www.thetwominutemiracles.com/ and at http://www.weewerk.com/. You can hear the song, Conjoined, on You Tube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pXvHQponqv4). Thanks for reading and enjoy!
